Dr. Stacey Hutchison, DVM
Dr. Stacey Hutchison is a lifelong resident of Pulaski County and is proud to serve the community she has always called home. She graduated from Pulaski County High School in 1999 before earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in 2003. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
Dr. Hutchison is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient who walks through SomerPet’s doors. She values building lasting relationships with clients and partnering with families to keep their pets happy and healthy throughout every stage of life.
She is married to Jeremy Hutchison, SomerPet’s Practice Manager, and together they have three children. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hutchison enjoys spending time on the farm caring for their fold of Highland cows and making memories with her family while traveling whenever she gets the chance.
Dr. Samantha Poynter, DVM
Dr. Samantha Poynter is a Pulaski County native and is proud to serve the community she calls home. A lifelong animal lover, she has always been passionate about caring for animals and the families who cherish them.
She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2018 before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Dr. Poynter is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and values building lasting relationships with clients while partnering with families to support their pets through every stage of life.
Dr. Poynter is married to her husband, Zach, and together they have a son, Ezekiel. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family on their farm, where they care for three dogs, a flock of sheep, and even the occasional chicken. She is grateful to be back home and honored to serve the pets and families of Pulaski County.
Dr. Kristen Dill, DVM
Dr. Kristen Dill was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and has always known that working with animals was her calling. From a young age, she immersed herself in the veterinary field, beginning as a volunteer at a local mixed animal clinic and further developing her passion through 4-H, where she focused on poultry.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee before going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she made Kentucky her home and is proud to serve the Somerset community.
After practicing in Somerset, Kentucky and Livingston, Tennessee for several years, Dr. Dill is excited to bring her experience, compassion, and dedication to the team at SomerPet. She is committed to providing high-quality care and building strong relationships with the families she serves.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dill enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and caring for their growing farm, which currently includes 40 chickens, 7 dogs, and 8 cats.
